A healthy and tasty spaghetti recipe ,courtesy my daughter :)
Ingredients :-
Dry Spaghetti -1 packet
Water- about 1 litre ,for boiling the spaghetti
Olive Oil or Refined Oil- 2 tablespoons
Garlic-8 cloves peeled and diced finely
Broccoli- 1 cup chopped
Capsicum - 1/2 cup chopped
Beans - 1/2 cup ,blanched and cut into 1 inch pieces
Black Olives - 1 tablesoon ,choped and marinated in vinegar
Parsley - 1 tablesoon ,chopped fine
Oregano- 1 teaspoon
Red chilli flakes -1 teaspoon
Pepper powder- 1 teaspoo
Salt-1 teaspoon ,or to taste
Milk - 1/2 cup
Method- Boil the water in a large vessel..Put 1 teaspoon oil in the water ,to prevent the spaghettis from sticking together...then put the dry spaghetti in it and cook for 5 mins.Now drain out the water through a strainer.
Heat the remaining oil in a pan, on medium flame ,and put the cut garlic pieces into it. Saute on very low flame for 2 mins.Then add all the chopped vegetables to it. Add salt and saute them over low flame for 5 mins.
Now add milk to it,and keep stirring for sometime.
Finally add the boiled spaghetti ,parsley,oregano,peper powder,chilli flakes ..Toss the entire contents of pan ,nicely. Garnish with olives and serve hot .
